wow
This is really impressive, would it be correct to assume we'll see how it was done soon?

Yep. The intent is to release the shaders directly into the main Spine-Unity runtime as well as the modified SkeletonRenderer to use them.
The Spine Asset Packs I've been hammering on will come bundled with normal/spec maps and shader settings, along with a lighting rig to test them out with the new shaders.
Awesome!
I've said this in other posts but the work you're doing is truly fantastic. I'm happy I stumbled upon the Spine community because the assets and tools you're providing are really going to aid my transition into Unity and C#.

This is terribly exciting, precisely the solution we've been looking for! Absolutely cannot wait to dig into this and see what we can come up with. Mitch, you sir are a gentleman and a scholar, and the assets and information that you provide the community with is truly invaluable.
Question: The Asset Packs are currently available for purchase, and I'm looking at picking them up within the next couple of days. Regarding your reply above, will the addition of the Mage-Light be patched into Asset Packs that have already been purchased?
MageLight will be added directly to the main runtimes for free. The asset packs will be updated with normal maps, example scenes for the characters, and preconfigured shaders for magelight.
In general though, my goal is to keep 4 or 5 asset packs completely updated and representing the latest Spine features with example code for the major 2D game types. IE: Hitman will have an infinite runner mode, and Gunman will have a Jetpack Joyride mode.
Awesome news man, thanks again.
wow this is really amazing!! Great work here. Hopefully a video on this will be introduced in the near future! The tutorials vids really helped me big time along with me playing around.
Great work! Will this be just for unity or will you support other frameworks like cocos2dx?
Any eta on this shader? Would like to get an example scene in unity to play with.
I'm so excited for this! Drools
Wow this looks amazing. Is it soon to be implemented into the Runtime? Or is it already implemented?
My game is now counting on this feature for many success
mine too 100%
Can't wait for this!
