Would be cool if ES could oversee a contest for an animated short using Spine. Nothing big just something for those who are just learning. I figure the experienced animators are busy with their projects.

Well I guess it wasn't a good idea. 
Doing a contest is something we've already been thinking about. Can't give you an ETA, but we are looking into it!
