I was wondering if somebody here already worked on "body parts cut off".
I came to a point where I'd like to be able to slash through my ennemies :devil:
However I can't find any "obvious" solution for this as it seems to be against all rules of the basic Spine skeleton :think:
( I mean, to "de-parent" a bone from the other)
I suppose the only "elegant" way of doing this would be to pre-create individual "dolly skeleton body parts" (a leg, an arm), instantiate them runtime and apply the correct skin while I'm "masking" this part on the character skeleton (don't know yet what masking would be, maybe "transparent" attachment ?)
I haven't played with the ragdoll component yet but I guess it could be nice to add that to the cutoff skeleton also 😉
Anyway, if anyone thinks about good practice here or bad mistake I'm heading towards, please let me know !!
