  • starling: mesh attachment issue with "allow rotation checked

Hello, I use texturepacker pro to create atlas(starling's format) for spine's skeleton.
But when I turn on "allow rotation" in texturepacker, the mesh attachment doesn't display correctly. I used "StarlingAtlasAttachmentLoader" class. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Thanks!

p.s. the region attachments are fine..

Could you send me the TexturePacker Pro atlas to see what's up?

This has now been fixed in the 3.6-beta branch on GitHub. See the changes to StarlingAtlasAttachmentLoader. Thanks for reporting!

Unfortunatly, this issue seems to be still around.
Switching "allow rotation" on in Texture Packer will distroy the rendering in Spine.
Any Idea?

Sorry for that. Could you provide me with assets to reproduce the problem? My test assets work as intended.

Hi badlogic, thanks for coming to this issue.
Attached is a project that demonstrates the behaviour: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jef18hpkcnytdmf/Test-Spine-TP-Rotation.zip?dl=0
The assets of the Spine anmimaton have been packed by TexturePacker with "allow rotation" selcted. The Spine/Starling render is faulty. Screenshot in the zip.
Everything is loaded through the Starling AssetManager.
My current project is full of animations + graphics and I loose a lot of file and GPU space without the ability to rotate assets.
A solution would be great, thanks.

It's going to take quite a while before I can get to this issue. You might want to consider using our texture packer, which can be applied to folders of images, not just the images in a skeleton.
