Hi,

Is there an option to overlay another animation within the same project for reference?

In short I am animating two characters fighting (for technical reasons I want to run the characters as seperate well-coordinated animations) - my job would be far easier, if I could overlay or shadow one animation on the other, to coordinate the movements and positions. What I am doing right now is very akward - exporting and running both characters within the runtimes, so see if I hit the mark. :punch:

I am used to 3D animation, where I can have both characters visualized at the same time, not having that option makes me sad. 😢

You can import the skeleton of the other character inside the character you want to animate, I guess you can animate both of them in a spine file to have them together and then export the animations you made via json so that you can import just the new animations you made to the separate characters. Or you can just keep them together in that file, it will export them as separate jsons anyway.

I actually had 3 skeletons in the same spine file and animated them together quite easily. (:
