Pharan escribióWait, you want to display the skeleton tree represented as a bunch of connected dots?
Or were you talking about an actual rendered skeleton?
My idea was to create my dots as one image attached and scaled as I need and connected with another image of a line, meshed so I can deform it nicely.
When I hover a dot, possibly in its center, ideally the whole dot (although just ideally) a tip shows what the dot name is. the tip is the name of the bone/slot.
So when I create the animation of the network evolving I'll just have to write the names once and not 5 times. (tears in the eyes thinking of the possibility)
Nate escribióAh, the thread title. 🙂 Shouldn't be too hard to show a name when the mouse is over a bone. You might want to use Canvas so you can use a div, otherwise rendering text with WebGL may not be so simple.
That's what I was hoping for! I'll try to stick to canvas >.<
By the way you did a suuuupernice timeline widget to move animations back and forth, is that made in canvas as well? (I presume is tree.js?)
