  • Naming of slots / Renaming slots breaks link to GFX

Two things:
When i add extra GFX from another folder into a spine project by drag-and-drop method, it names the slot and image with the path and filename.
I would love just to get the filename, as the path can create quite long layernames and i really don't need path info in a layer overview. Is this possible to change?

Anyway, when i rename the slot / image, the link/path breaks and the "missing GFX" alerts appear, and i have to type the path in manually.
It it possible to create an option to keep the original path? Just like the "Rename attachment" toggle option in the "Rename Slot" dialog? :$

This would really boost my workflow

Set the Images node path to "images", then you don't need "images/" in each of your image names. You can use the Find and Replace button at the top of the tree to remove "images/" from all of your image names.

Isn't this a bit more of a workaround rather than a fix? This works great if you add a bunch of images at the same time, but if you repeatedly get new addon GFX, it's not optimal. This solution leaves me to manually type names in, everytime we add more GFX to an existing character 😐

I don't understand, what exactly is the problem?

When i rename an attachment e.g. "images/podium" to "podium", Spine also changes the path to the image. This breaks the link to the image, and i have to re-enter the path to the image.

See my post above.
