Help with vine tutorial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpVMiUC8Ewk
I tried several times to recreate the mesh from the vine tutorial and no matter way it doesn't come out right.
Can you show how you created the mesh from the vine tutorial?
I've added a screenshot of my attempt at copying what you did.
You can see on the right when I try to rotate the bone the mesh on the bitmap doesn't follow, like yours does on the left.
Thank you

- Convert your image to a mesh.
- Click
Create
in the Edit Mesh dialog and draw the two edges on the sides. - Click
Delete
in the Edit Mesh dialog and delete the two top corner vertices. - Click
Create
in the Edit Mesh dialog and now draw the horizontal edges all the way to the top. - This is the bones I've created for this small guide.
6.a Select the mesh and clickWeights
in the toolbar.
6.b Now clickBind
in the Weights dialog and click on each bone.
6.c Wait for it to finish creating weights and then clickSmooth
a couple of times (For this guide I clickedSmooth
3 times).
Switch to animate mode, clickRotate
and try transforming your bones. You will end up with a result similar to this one, if you aren't getting a smooth enough result you can go back to Edit Mesh and draw more edges or click smooth again.
