    Why you don't distribute Spine editor under bsd license?

    They need to sell it to keep the business going and continue development.

    BSD is for free software, right?

    Yes for the Editor but why the SDK and the Runtime?

    Considerable effort is put into the runtimes and they are part of Spine as a product and start to finish solution. They are not licensed under BSD because they are not intended to be used without licensing Spine.
