  • Goblins/TRex project download? (bone based deform)

Hiya guys, is it possible to get the latest version of the goblins project for Spine? The most recent one I can find is pre-bendy-spear. Also, is your neato robo-t-rex working file available to pick through? I'm trying to evaluate/learn about bone-based deformation in the app (like the Goblin's spear and the t-rex droid tail) but there's none in the included Spineboy project.

I'm also keen to see which Youtube video explains the ins and outs of using multiple bones to animate a single sprite. Sorry if I get the language for this wrong: I'm calling that skinning (like in 3D) when I search but that term is also in use for swapping out character art on a given skeleton, so I end up with the wrong tute 🙂

Thanks mateys!

I've held off creating a skinning video yet since the feature isn't fully complete but I'll create one this weekend, I'm afraid I don't have the time to do it before Sunday.
I don't have the Goblin project with the bendy spear, this was something Nate did, but you can find the Velocihorn project here http://esotericsoftware.com/files/proje ... rn_WIP.zip
It's still a work in progress, the final project will have more animations and be a little less messy 😉

I believe the goblin with the bendy spear should come with Spine.

This raptor is very cool and well skinned.
I wonder if you just uniformly distributed the weights to be able to make a so smooth skinning by hand.

Thanks. My workflow for skinning is I weigh the vertices closest to the individual bones with 100% weight. I do this for all vertices and then I apply smooth a couple of times. Jump into animate mode and then I move bones around a bit while tweaking weights slightly.

Hi, this proyect is amazing,
i don't understand how to associate one image with more than one bone. (ex. t-rex hands, legs, or the tongue) there is any video explaining this?
thank you!

awesome, thank you mate!
