  • Latest 4.0 to 3.8.99 - Spine keeps 'latest 4 setting'

Hello,

Spine will re-open latest 4.x if the settings are not changed upon loading the older version. This has undone preferences and edited hotkey files a couple times now. Very inconvenient.

  1. Opened latest Spine 4.0.56 (I think)
  2. in Settings, want to load 3.8.99.
  3. close spine, open spine. 3.8.99 loads.
  4. close 3.8.99 and reopen spine. Loads 4.0.56

OR

  1. Check settings. Settings remain set to 'Latest' rather than new current version. Additionally, some clarity with shortcut files being overwritten or files being preserved somewhere/referenced so manual duplication doesn't have to happen every time would be very appreciated.

Thank you for your report. We have confirmed the problem can be reproduced if you choose Latest 3.8 to switch the version to 3.8.99, the setting will be converted Latest in 3.8, so the latest stable version (currently 4.0.56) will be launched on the next run. We will try to find a solution for it, but this can be avoided if you click Other... and type the version number instead of using Latest 3.8 to switch.

New launcher (4.1.03) is up with this fix, please download and reinstall from your license page to get the fix.
