Spine skeletonviewer(2.1) Crashing on loading files

Hi, sorry to bother yall with issues from your older stuff. I had intended to make use of the skeletonviewer to diagnose an issue I was encountering with an animation post-export.
(I am using the 2.1.27 variant as these animations were made in that version. )

However, when opening the .jar I am told that there was an error loading "spineboy.json", and when I attempt to open my own .skel files, the application crashes/closes without further messages.

I'm not sure where to even start with fixing this...

Run it from the command line to see error details.

It should open JSON data if it is from the 2.1.27 editor. If not, can you post or email the JSON file? contact@esotericsoftware.com

If it crashes on binary data either the binary data is not from the right version of Spine or there is a bug in the (very old) Skeleton Viewer. You can look with a hex editor to get the binary data version, or post or email it to use.
