Mesh with multiple Images
Can I have 1 mesh controlling 2 images at same time enabled?
Hello, the closest thing to this is a linked mesh:
Meshes - Spine User Guide: Linked meshes
But linked meshes can only exist within the same slot, therefore they can't be active at the same time.
To achieve this the easiest way is to duplicate one mesh once you're done setting the weights, then replace the path so that it uses a different image.
What effect were you trying to achieve by using this?
I think MichelVictor means to have a single mesh somehow span 2 images? That is not possible, but we need clarification on what exactly is being asked. Note you can have 2 meshes weighted to the same bones and they can deform as if they were a single image.
Yes I want exactly what you answered.
I was doing the duplicate approach, the problem is if I need to edit something, I need to redo all the duplicate thing again, and the two images has to have the exactly same size.
The effect I am doing is, you can change the color of the cars and I am using the slot colors for that, but not all the sprite are colored, there is some textures and rusty that doesn't change color, so I create a "rusty layer" and a "color layer".
