Tint White and Black with different skins?
I have a 'villager' all rigged up. His clothes are white with black outlines. I'd love to have multiple color variants of the clothes with different skins (red clothed villager, brown clothed villager, etc). Is there any way to do this? It seems I can only tint black on the slot which won't change with a skin change. Any help would be great!
Hello Joel!
You can recolor your assets per skin, if instead of changing the slot color, you change the attachment color.
This means that you can multiply a color on top of the image, to tint your assets, but a black outline will stay black.
While if you aim to use tint black to also make the blacks change color, that is only allowed per slot, therefore it will stay the same for any skin.

Okay, thanks!
I'm wondering why this is case. It would be very helpful to be able to tint black and change that per skin. Is this something that could be fixed/changed in a future update?
Just to clarify, this would be helpful in regards to spritesheet optimization. Sure, you can recolor the artwork and use multiple sprites, but it would be great to reduce all the sprites to one, tintable asset. Without tint black, it's impossible to get the colors right using one sprite.
Hello, I just noticed we already have this proposition on our tracker, so I added your +1 there (:

I agree it would be great to have it!
