I'm not sure where to post this so I figured this was the safest bet.

I'm trying to use the script for Photoshop that converts layers to PNGs. I've been using it for a few weeks now and everything has been fine, but then randomly I went to use it and when it starts it opens up a 'save as' window and tries to save each layer as a .psd.

Nothing I've tried to do to fix it works. I've reinstalled photoshop, reinstalled the script, restarted my computer a few hundred times, upgraded to Photoshop CC (I already had this license but was trying to avoid the dance of licensing all my devices). I've tried it on new photoshop files, I've tried it on old photoshop files that used to work. I swear I've exhausted everything I know to do to try and get this to work right.

If anyone could offer some insight into this issue it would be greatly greatly appreciated.

I wish I had looked at the forum before purchasing this software...
A simple question stands unanswered for 3 months is UNACCEPTABLE...

Changing from CMYK to RGB solved it this time for me..

Sorry we weren't able to get to the question back then. It's true that the script expects RGB, though I wouldn't have guessed that was the solution from the description of the problem. I believe the script could be modified to use save for web to save the PNG files, which should work for CMYK. I'll look into making that change.

I made a tweaked version a while back. We never released it since I'm not a programmer (my code is terrible).
